I am a transformational, strategic, and democratic leader with significant experience in the tertiary education sector. I provide expert advice regarding research governance, integrity, ethics, regulatory compliance and risk. I have developed and delivered University-wide policy and procedures, guided the configuration and implementation of new systems, initiated, managed and facilitated large events, developed and implemented training and competency assessments for researchers and animal carers and contributed to organisational strategic planning. I earned my doctorate from The University of Queensland developing, implementing and evaluating a Great Ape Welfare Index. I am a lifelong learner with my latest pursuit of knowledge involving a Diploma of Sustainable Living through The University of Tasmania. I am driven and motivated by doing work that matters and makes an important contribution to humanity and our planet.
