About Amanda Grigg

I am a people-centered program director, strategist, and relationship-builder who is passionate about impactful, community-engaged research.I thrive in fast-paced environments and I love building relationship within organizations and with external partners. I’m known for making things happen, whether that is developing a new program, establishing a new partnership or coalition, or leading development of a new digital platform. In my time as a researcher and educator, I particularly enjoyed applying critical thinking, facilitation, and communication skills to help students understand the role of policy in their lives. I conducted research on health policies affecting minoritized women and led research teams collaborating with advocacy organizations to document racial bias in the criminal justice system. My work as a researcher and educator focused on issues of equality and social justice, and I bring that expertise to all of my work, developing programs and teams that advance inclusion and equity. Today, I’m energized by opportunities to combine all of these skills to ensure that research contributes to the public good, and helps make the world a more just and equitable place.

Listed skills include Nonprofit Organizations, Project Management, Public Engagement, Higher Education, and 21 others.
