I love helping people make deeper connections with redwoods. My position is remote and allows me to travel across the SF Bay area, specifically the Santa Cruz mountains. I often travel to Castle Rock, Butano, and Big Basin Redwoods State Parks, as well as redwood lands that Sempervirens Fund has protected. I also work as an artist and enjoy my time as a birder. I combine my love of birds and nature into my mixed media work and participate in art exhibits, open studios, boutiques, and online shows. I am a member of the Nature Journal Club, a group open to all individuals curious about observing nature. On occasion, I teach private workshops. I draw, paint, or use relief printmaking techniques on paper, wood, or canvas to express my observations.
