-Research on the genetics of the Gulf Coast Tick (Amblyomma maculatum) and literature review of the American Dog Tick (Dermacentor variabilis). Writing and publications in progress. -Teaching Assistant for veterinary students in parasitology, including preparing samples and conducting teaching labs.-Several presentations and lectures at Oklahoma State University and the American Association of Veterinary Parasitology (AAVP) conference of 2015.-Participated in and led journal club on current topics in parasitology-Aided colleagues in research and other work including tick trapping, data analysis, proofreading, and GCP research.
