Hi, I’m Amanda. If you’re new here, welcome. If you’re an old friend, then welcome back. It’s lovely seeing you again. So, I suppose this is the part where I tell you about myself. I could go with the rote copy/paste from my long form resume, which I have done in the past. Or, I could start the introduction by saying that I am here because of you. Yes, you! See, I adore people, yet, I am ever so slightly introverted. As you can imagine, I’m not great at parties, or with the spotlight shining directly in my eyes. Which completely ruled out a career on the stage. Yet I love to help by crafting the narrative that is you, and your business. Yes, I am…a helper. (I’m also an Enneagram 9w1, and an INFJ, if you’re into that sort of thing) Luckily, I am probably the best worker bee/leader/2nd banana you’ll ever meet. As Jack said, “You WANT me on that wall, you NEED me on that wall…” Thankfully, I don’t have his baggage. I do, however, come with nuanced, intuitive experience. I’ve spent most of my career in hospitality, which really hones those empathetic/read the room social cues. Currently, I spend my evenings as a bartender. (My Old Fashioned & Martini game is on point, so sayeth my friends & guests.) I am also exceedingly well versed in Business Admin, Catering Sales, Restaurant Management, Corporate & Personal Travel, Social Media Management, and Logistics. You know, worker bee stuff. Storytelling, film, music, books, inserting useless tidbits of pop culture and information into the conversation? Also specialties of note. Yes, I wear a lot of hats. By design, though, I am a creative. Writing, photography, pulling things apart and putting them back together. Minding the details, completing the puzzle… whether it’s creating copy, talking shop about food & wine, or booking travel… So, let’s connect.
