Profile bio

About Amanda Carpenter

I do my best work when I can help others achieve their goals. As an Organizational Development Specialist, I am motivated to build manageable success plans for individuals and teams, bringing everyone together around a shared goal of success. I won't stop until we get there through coaching, planning, training, and other support to do what it takes to meet those goals.I have always been a true advocate for training and development in the workplace to allow employees to stay ahead of the learning curve instead of correcting their actions when a mistake is made. I also believe that responsible leadership shines when giving employees the tools and the time to learn with the guidance, patience, and encouragement to do so. I have a talent for training program development and instructional design based on my passion for it. I've used this strength throughout my career to teach subjects such as SMART goals, many government regulations to strengthen compliance, company-wide performance management module implementation in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and managing or assigning employee eLearning modules in a Learning Management System (LMS).My second love is performance management and employee relations. I enjoy career building and talent development through behavior based evaluation to find a person's true passion and talents. When employees are struggling in the workplace with job duties or soft skills, such as communication, I find it rewarding to partner with the employee and their supervisor to develop a performance improvement plan which sets goals and steps to achieve them. Most often employees feel empowered and in control of their improvement when given the opportunity to help themselves versus solely being disciplined without explanation.I believe a workplace can uphold these standards to make an employee's experience a positive one by empowering them, therefore increasing retention and productivity.

Listed skills include Training, Human Resources, Leadership, Onboarding, and 68 others.
