Launched in 2018, NewMexicoKidsCAN: The New Mexico Campaign for Achievement Now is a local non-profit organization that advocates for community-informed, student-centered and research-backed education policies. Connecting policy, instructional practice and politics the organization works to reimagine what is possible in New Mexico’s public education system to ensure New Mexico students become the future community, civic and business leaders New Mexico needs.

Served as an appointed staff member to Governor & Cabinet Secretary of Public Education. Managed communications and outreach to create meaningful and informed dialogue between the Public Education Department and stakeholders throughout New Mexico including, parents, teachers, district administrators, legislators, community leaders and business leaders. Supervised and directed the Outreach Team including Teacher Liaisons, Parent & Family Liaison and Project Coordinator to ensure that the team delivered upon the goals outlined in the Strategic Outreach Plan

Led Stakeholder Relations team to ensure the successful implementation of the long range stakeholder engagement plan in order to maintain continued access to resource for the company in New Mexico and Southwest Colorado.

Built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders throughout New Mexico and Southwest Colorado in order to cultivate a positive correlation between the corporation and the community in which it operates.

Developed strategic plans to maintain a strong base of core vendors within the business unit that provided quality services to all user groups.Major categories include Drilling Rigs, Service Rigs, Air Packages, Stimulation, Cementing

Ensured compliance in all procurement activities within the United States and acted as a liaison between Global Internal Audit and procurement leadership and coordinators.

Planned and executed a week of unique events for a campus of 2,700 undergraduate students culminating in a headline concert with over 1,000 tickets sold. Implemented all event plans within budget of $65,000.

Worked as a summer intern and completed summer project relating to mitigating contract risk by optimizing contract management software. Successfully completed project and year end summer presentation which led to a full time job offer.

Worked for two summers as a Business Operations Specialist where I assisted with purchasing and contract management.

Completed semester long internship during semester abroad with global risk management company, Aon.
