Work with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the strategic plan.Artistic Responsibilities: Oversee the artistic direction related to the chorus including, but not limited to repertoire selection, conducting staff, performances, artistic collaborations, community engagement programs, and commissions.Conduct Voices for Unity (grades 4-8, unchanged voices) and Urban Harmony (grades 1-3). Determine and teach appropriate performance repertoire within a variety of genres based on skill and experience of the choir. Teach related musical and performance skills including sight-singing, music theory, vocal technique, and general performance skills.Conduct 6-10 annual public concerts per year.Pursue and secure artistic opportunities including guest musicians and artists, commissions and collaborations with other performing groups.

Lead weekly classes for children ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers using the WeBop curriculum, developed by Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Provide direct therapeutic care to children with trauma diagnoses. Work closely with therapists, psychiatrists, case workers, foster care specialists, attorneys, and teachers. Attend court hearings, family team meetings, home visits, therapy sessions, and other meetings or appointments. Consult with psychiatrists and therapists about medication changes and efficacy of medications prescribed. Maintain all required documentation, behavior notes, and logs.
