Management Responsibilities: Ensure effective management of administrative responsibilities. Develop and present the annual budget. Maintain records and monitor accounts, including contracts, agreements, financial, and tax records. Plan, coordinate, and implement development efforts; identify and cultivate potential sources of revenue Prepare applications for funds from agencies such as foundations, state, federal government and other governmental and non-profit organizations. Maintain contact with donors; develop and implement methods to recognize donors and to encourage ongoing financial support. Select, supervise, and evaluate staff; administer staff payroll; prepare agendas for regular meetings of the staff to ensure proper integration of artistic, administrative, marketing and development efforts.Develop and implement marketing plan. Create digital media content, concert programs, posters, brochures, and other marketing materials for distribution. Manage communication with parents, donors, community members through various platforms. Create and oversee the website.Attend and help lead Board of Directors' meetings. Work with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the strategic plan.Artistic Responsibilities: Oversee the artistic direction related to the chorus including, but not limited to repertoire selection, conducting staff, performances, artistic collaborations, community engagement programs, and commissions.Conduct Voices for Unity (grades 4-8, unchanged voices) and Urban Harmony (grades 1-3). Determine and teach appropriate performance repertoire within a variety of genres based on skill and experience of the choir. Teach related musical and performance skills including sight-singing, music theory, vocal technique, and general performance skills.Conduct 6-10 annual public concerts per year.Pursue and secure artistic opportunities including guest musicians and artists, commissions and collaborations with other performing groups.
