Amanda Shellenberger is an environmental engineer with a focus in sediment contamination, recontamination and remediation, and source control monitoring and assessment. She specializes in the management of large-scale complex environmental investigations, particularly at contaminated sediment sites with multiple objectives, owners, and stakeholders. Amanda's experience covers a wide range of sediment issues, including RI/FS evaluations and associated regulatory agency negotiations, source control loading and recontamination evaluations, sediment chemistry and toxicology, sediment risk assessments, benthic ecology, and sediment chemical fate and transport modeling, as well as remediation engineering. Amanda has also worked on several sediment USEPA CERCLA projects that include extensive coordination with regulators, the community, stakeholders, insurers, and third-party owners.
