Amanda is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and is the Finance Bursar at Balliol College, University of Oxford.Prior to this role, Amanda was the Divisional Finance Manager for eleven brands of Jonas Software, a leading vertical software group, with its parent listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Before moving into industry, Amanda was a Senior Manager in the Not for Profit group at Grant Thornton, managing a portfolio of charity and education clients. Amanda sat on the Grant Thornton's Governance Institute board, which discusses governance issues in the charity, housing, large listed, local authority and NHS sectors. She has written a number of articles in the press on Not for Profit sector issues and presented at a range of seminars, including the Charity Finance Group and the Association of NHS Charities. Her voluntary experience includes being the treasurer of a charity in Oxford.
