I qualified as a National Tourist Guide in 2001. I worked as a freelance guide. Not only did I guide throughout the 32 counties but I also am experienced in event co - ordination. I have also run Incentive Programmes. I have been involved in major conferences and incentives in Ireland in both co ordination and management roles. I am a member of ATGI, the association of Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland. I was also on the committee and involved in the new look membership booklet.I am a professional and enthusiastic individual who has excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and uses these skills in the midst of a dynamic environment.Since 2015 I have been a tutor on the National Guiding Course which is a six month course run by Kerry ETB. As this runs from October to March, I am able to combine it with my guiding during the season. I have also extended my education field to include External Authentication, Mentoring, Peer Reviewing. In 2022, I began working full time in Overseas Adventure Travel as an Operations Co-ordinator. Shortly, afterwards I was promoted to Country Manager overseeing all products within Ireland and smaller programmes in Scotland.
