New York Times best-selling author A. Manette Ansay lives and writes east of Boulder, Colorado, where she enjoys coaching high school students and their families through the college planning and application process. She is Professor Emerita at the University of Miami, where she served as director of the MFA program, taught courses in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry, and advised and mentored undergraduate and graduate students. Her novels include Vinegar Hill, an Oprah Book Club Selection, and Midnight Champagne, a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. She is a volunteer at Friend of Coal Creek, a member of College Consultants of Colorado (CCC) and an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
