Leads 17 technicians across radio, tactical data links, servers & networking work centers responsible for managing & advancing full-spectrum C2 systems for the DoD’s largest Air Operations Center (AOC) in support of POTUS & SECDEF-directed missions, joint maneuver forces & the objectives of 9 CCMDs. Oversees $400K+ communications security account that provides a robust C2 infrastructure for a 300-person operations floor managing 130+ aircraft & executing 40K+ sorties per year.

I deploy, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair standard voice, data, video network, and cryptographic client devices in fixed and deployed environments. I sustain and operate systems through effective troubleshooting, repair, and system performance analysis. I also manage client user accounts and organizational client device accounts.My specific duties include:1) Performs client-level information technology support functions: Manages hardware and software. Performs configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Removes and replaces components and peripherals to restore system operation. Installs and configures software operating systems and applications. Provides service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems. Reports security incidents and executes corrective security procedures.2) Performs client-level voice network functions: Manages hardware and software. Performs configuration, management to include adds, moves, changes, and troubleshooting. Plans, schedules, and implements installation and maintenance functions associated with voice systems. As Section Chief, Cyber Systems Operations, I oversee 45+ personnel that sustain 905 million dollar Sentinel ISR weapon system. I oversee 22 networks, 488 nodes across 7 Combatant Commands, and ensures time critical ISR processing, exploitation, and dissemination of U-2, RQ-4, and MQ-9 data in support of the 7 billion dollar intelligence mission. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing weapon system maintenance operations, ensuring Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's) are executed, oversee four different IT system ticketing queues (NIPR/SIPR Remedy, Service Now, and Serena), completion of Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI’s), developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP’s) and ensuring new requirements are executed in a timely manner.

As the Section Chief, for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Maintenance Operations Center (IMOC), 48th Intelligence Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California. I am responsible for leading a 4-member team that sustains a 905 million dollar Sentinel ISR weapon system. I oversee 22 networks, 488 nodes across 7 Combatant Commands, and ensures time critical ISR processing, exploitation, and dissemination of U-2, RQ-4, and MQ-9 data in support of the 7 billion dollar intelligence mission. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing weapon system maintenance operations scheduling, ticket tracking, trend analysis, Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) orders, tracking preventative maintenance inspections (PMI’s), developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP’s), and ensuring equipment upgrades are executed in accordance with sustainment requirements and mission objectives for Distributed Ground Station 2 (DGS-2).

As the lead of the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) section, I am responsible to leading all process improvement efforts within the 48th Intelligence Squadron. I help facilitate initiatives that identify best practices and ensure info is shared throughout the organization. I accomplish this by leading a establishing an environment whereby all Airmen actively eliminate waste and continuously improve processes centered around 548 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) mission. I develop and implement processes to determine root causes and develop countermeasures to correct performance gaps within the units priorities. Lastly, I track all issues, resolutions, standardize work processes, evaluate if corrective actions were effective or not and am responsible for documenting all CPI initiatives.

As a Mission Systems Supervisor assigned to a Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) site, I am in charge of leading a 32 member cyber maintenance operations center that sustains a $905 Million Sentinel Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) weapon system. I help maintain over 22 networks, 488 nodes across 7 Combatant Commands. I enable time critical ISR processing, exploitation, and dissemination of U-2, RQ-4, MQ-1, and MQ-9 data in support of the $7 Billion Intel mission. My responsibilities extends from directing weapon system maintenance operations scheduling, to manpower training, threat analysis, equipment upgrades in accordance with sustainment requirements and mission objectives.

As a Base Comm Planner, I develop, plan, and integrate base communications-computer systems (C-CS). by performing mission review with C-CS systems customers for architectural integration and impact on cyber infrastructure. I work jointly with different agencies to develop and/or maintains base communications Blueprint. I evaluate war, support, and contingency plans to determine the impact on cyber resources. I ensure identification of communication shortfalls and interoperability of resources. I manage maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and identify impact of agreements on unit resources. I manage communication projects planning and implementation source documentation consisting of applicable architectures; war, support, and contingency plans; agreements; and contracts. Additionally, I help customers develop comm requirements and serve as communications advisor at meetings for facility design, military construction programs, and minor construction planning. Finally, I ensure technical solutions integrate with existing or proposed systems. I work with and manage 6 Project Managers the oversee projects at Spangdahlem Air Base and 23 Geographically Separated Units (GSU’s) all around Europe.

I oversee a 5 member team where I am responsible for training 140 Accountable Property Officers (APO) for the Spangdahelm Air Base. I manage 70 property accounts with over 18,000 assets being tracked valued at $27 million dollars. These accounts are spread across 21 Squadrons and 7 Geographically Separated Units (GSU). I am in charge of the office that overseas and approves all AFWAY purchases which is used to purchase IT equipment for organizations that fall under the 52d Fighter Wing. We received those shipments when the equipment is ordered and when it arrives, my office inputs tracked assets into our database before issuing it to the appropriate APO.I manage the database that is used to track all IT assets to include equipment issue, transfers, and turn in. I oversee and manage the Wing IT DRMO program where all unserviceable assets are prepped and turned into the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Since taking over this office we have turned in 5000 IT assets for DRMO weighing about 450,000lbs worth of equipment.

I supervise 8 personnel; manage client system installations and Remedy tickets/Work Order Management System requests. I provide classified and unclassified network guidance and maintenance training to support NATO/USAFE theater missions. I am responsible for ensuring Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration compliance on 4,100 Information technology computer hardware and mobile computing platforms. Lastly, I oversee personal computer vulnerability updates, operating system diagnostics and hardware/software malfunction repair.I also monitor the training progress of a 21 member work center, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. I oversee supervisors to quality check the progress of subordinates in a timely and efficient manner. I have corrected over 600 discrepancies since taking over the training program to make sure personnel are a 100% qualified for upcoming deployments.

I was deployed to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan in support of Operation FREEDOM SENTINEL and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's RESOLUTE SUPPORT and subject to indirect fire attacks. I led a five member team to resolve 304 high visibility tickets with a 96 percent first time fix rate in less than 24 hours. My leadership and technical skills secured a 99.9 percent up-time rate for Bagram's 84 million dollar network and ensured zero communication interruptions to the wing's mission. Additionally, I guided the 455th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron information technology upgrade. I configured and installed three computer system that resulted in the safeguarding of five billion dollars of aircraft assets and support for 5,600 sorties within the Department of Defense's busiest combat logistics hub. Finally, I executed the 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's electronic tablet roll-out by linking the unit to more than 700 technical orders, supporting 147 personnel and movement of 14,000 tons of cargo and 26,000 passengers.The office I was in charge of is solely responsible for maintaining critical command, control, communications and computer systems to include the Crisis Action Team and to support the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing Leadership and Staff. We supported over 3,700 users on Non-classified Internet Protocol Routing Network (NIPRNet), Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNet), and the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange (CENTRIX) Network.

I troubleshoot and fix any hardware, and software problems on desktops, laptops, printers, telephones. I configure network properties on the DOD network to prevent cyber vulnerabilities. I maintain accountable over 800 IT government assets ensuring they meet required specification to be able to connect to either classified or unclassified networks.I manage hundreds of personnel Information Assurance training, and help mitigate malicious software from affecting the DOD network. I educate users on proper COMPUSEC, EMSEC, and REMSEC policies to prevent security incidents from occurring. When a Security Incident does occur, I also become one of the investigating authorities to determine the cause, and how to prevent it from happening in the future. I am responsible for configuring and authorizing all removable media devices within the squadron, as well as coordinating with the Wing Information Assurance Office to Certify and approve all Classified areas with the Squadron.

I was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan during Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and FREEDOM SENTINEL. I managed a 47,000 dollar account comprised of three enclaves, enabling uninterrupted connectivity of a 38 million dollar communication node and network access for 40 users. Additionally, I executed a 16 client restoration project with zero downtime, saving the Air Force 13,000 dollars in replacement costs. Furthermore, I expertly corrected numerous applications faults, reviving a 750,000 dollar coalition forces situational awareness system to sustain the Combined Forces Air Component Commander (CFACC) 251,000 square mile operational air picture. Finally, I migrated six tactical data link operations systems during a 1.5 million dollar network project, fortifying the architecture of a 188 participant command and control network and supporting battle management of 21,000 combat sorties.

I was deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar for 6 months. During this period, I created and maintained 924 account documents which supported 143 joint and coalition service members across communications data networks. Additionally, I managed a communications asset account worth 820 thousand dollars critical to air control in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Furthermore, my software compatibility knowledge was critical to restoring Java services to the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) where the quick fix actions enabled tracking of 2,560 maintenance actions as well as 840 preventative maintenance inspections which were reported to the Combined Forces Air Component Commander (CFACC). Finally, I volunteered in expediting mail delivery times by eight hours to eleven-thousand United States and Coalition partners when he assisted in processing1,069 parcels totaling 10,313 pounds at the Al Udeid Air Base Post Office.

I was in charge of organizing and filing personnel medical records for Army National Guard increasing the capabilities for personnel to access medical records from any base or deployed location with access to the Database. Helped eliminate the need to hand carry records and protecting Privacy Act and HIPAA information.
