Jagran Education Foundation was established in the year 2005 under the aegis of the Sri Puranchandra Gupta Smarak Trust which was established in the year 1987 in the sacred memory of Late Sri Puran Chandra Gupta, the founder of Dainik Jagran. The purpose of the Trust was to develop and fulfill the educational, spiritual, cultural, medical and other philanthropic needs of the society at large.
