I worked as field supervisor in Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab under National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) New Delhi, an autonomous body and think tank of the Government. I supervised the five teams of 15 research Investigators in collection of data and other related works and extensively visited the various districts, blocks and villages of the above three states. It was eye opening experience for me to understand the multiple ways of farming in India and various constraints being faced by the Indian farmers apart from my own personal experiences as a son of farmer.

I worked as a research Investigator in Uttar Pradesh(UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) at the Institute for Human Development (IHD). It was evaluation of Backward Region Grant Fund(BRGF) in the above state sponsored by the Planning Commission, Government of India. The Institute for Human Development (IHD) is located in IIPA building at Indraprastha Estate New Delhi. The Institute for Human Development (IHD) is a non-profit autonomous institution that undertakes studies in human development and related issues. The Institute is one of the "ICSSR-recognised institutes", a category of Research Institutions by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Government of India.
