I am a warehousing/logistics professional with over 10 years of experience administrating the efficient operation of company warehouses and storerooms. My background has included supervising staff, stock take, maintaining inventory levels, loading/unloading, lock and tag, receipts and dispatches, safe use of forklifts and other equipment, and dealing with customs. As warehouse trainer/manager, I supervised a team of 12 staff and am responsible for training, instructing and supervising. Many of my staff members are young and inexperienced so it is vital that I provide comprehensive training, maintain motivation levels and offer plenty of feedback, especially in regards to safety hazards. In addition, I am a highly organized person, with strong time management, decision-making and problem-solving skills. In my recent position, as well as my previous positions, my roles involved balancing many responsibilities, including maintaining stock levels and providing on-floor customer service, in addition to staff management. I am required to prioritize tasks and ensure that the warehouse is running smoothly at all times. With a strong commitment to the safety of my sites and teams, I have been nominated as a member of the safety committee in a number of my roles. I have in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety and always follow Workplace Health and Safety Regulations. My qualifications have provided a theoretical framework for my experience in the industry.
