Leading a team of 22 members; Directing overall business operations and driving 9 million US Dollar business in the territories of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan, for Material Characterization Instruments. With my consistent efforts, I have accelerated business from 3M to 9M in 10 years with a CAGR of 11%. I played a stellar role in the growth of the Défense Business in Bangladesh & India; enhancing market share by close to 35% thereby increasing the presence of products in varied industry segments and territories across the region; developing 3 new Distributors for the territories of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal resulting in the business growth from 250 K to 1.2 M US Dollars across the Pharmaceutical and Government Research segments.Also I have initiated and developed the APAC Service Laboratory for in-house servicing of the Analytical Instruments in the region whereby the service revenue for repair began generation and grew to 0.75 M supporting the complete APAC region which would be growing further by approximately 15 % YOY; Identified key application areas for the growth of the Analytical Characterization Instruments manufactured by the company in the Defence Market Sector generating a business of over 4 M USD in the last 4 years (Foreseeing generation of 10 M revenue every year in global markets).Apart from this, I have significantly developed the Pharmaceutical Segment Business by introducing the Technique of the Thermal Activity Monitor & Isothermal Calorimetry to study Biosimilar Formulations which would help to identify the stability of the biosimilar which in turn would support the Pharmaceutical Company in finding new Drug Potency and Shelf Life. This would support the business to generate a revenue of over 7 M USD in the next 3-5 years.

As General Manager – Life Science Group, I was accountable for Life Sciences business for the company in India and Sri Lanka. I was heading a team of 70 members and handled revenue of over 12 million US Dollars.During my tenure, I was supporting the Pharmaceutical, Research, Industrial, Biotech, and Education markets for their needs for Life Science products and services; spearheading the company’s varied product portfolio and consistently attained over 30 to 35% growth in the markets handled.I also established a distributor network of over 60 distributors contributing a business for over 5 million US Dollars for the Life Science group.

I was primarily managing all India Sales of the transmission line hardware division, catering to the needs of the Central and State Electricity departments. I was instrumental in generating a business of 1.5 million US Dollars for the organization in the product portfolio handled.

I handled business operations in the Southern region of India, for Cummins range of Diesel generators to the OEM customers; successfully developed a new OEM Ashok Leyland for Cummins.
