-Creating, reviewing and revising the High Performance Program for climbing with the goal of improving results at international events- Supporting HP athletes in all aspects of their performance- Researching and analyzing current data to support HP initiatives- Supporting other initiatives as requested by the CEC board of directors

I test, collect and interpret performance metrics data on rock climbing athletes and integrate this information into practical exercise protocols to improve performance. As competition and outdoor performance climbing continues to rapidly evolve, we aim to be on the cutting edge of providing athletes, coaches and organizations solutions and strategies to maximize performance outcomes.I also specialize in rehabilitation and recovery from rock climbing musculoskeletal injuries. The physical demands of rock climbing are unique from other sports and require in-depth knowledge of how these injuries affect athletes.

Create linear and non-linear exercise programs specific to the sports physiological demandsApply evidence based exercise science protocols for improved performanceApply evidence based motor learning protocols, feedback schedules and practice schedulesRegularly perform exercise testing and functional movement screenings of varsity athletesLead and supervise exercise sessions for entire varsity teamsSupervise and mentor interns from the Human Kinetics programs at the University of OttawaMaintain communication with head coaches, athletic therapists and other team members
