As a member of the White House senior staff, I managed the Office of Cabinet Affairs and served as the primary liaison between the White House and the federal departments and agencies. Coordinated the flow of information to the agencies to ensure symmetry with the President’s policy, communications, and management priorities; resolved interagency disputes, as well as disputes between the White House and agencies; coordinated the Cabinet’s role in White House events; organized Cabinet meetings; and represented agency interests in White House senior staff meetings.
