I have a strong connection to my community, and spend a good deal of my personal time volunteering with local groups, with a focus on support for women and LGBTQIA+ people in Fredericton and New Brunswick at large. I am also involved in community theatre in Fredericton and believe strongly in the potential of people coming together for a common project or interest.I am a graduate of UNB Law, having achieved my Juris Doctor degree as member of the class of 2016. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University, where I graduated with distinction from their English Literature faculty in 2013.My professional interests include working in public policy, community outreach, social welfare, community building, and human rights. Much of my volunteer and community experience is in the area of outreach to at-risk populations and promoting human rights protections.
