As an experienced mental health professional with seven years of experience, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles that have allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the field. From my early days as a recovery coach for eating disorders, to my most recent role as a client care administrator leading the team in operations, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise.During my time as a clinical office manager for a multidisciplinary team, I was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy mental health clinic. This experience allowed me to develop my leadership and organizational skills, as well as my ability to manage a diverse team of professionals. As the director of admissions for eating disorders and perinatal mood and anxiety, I was responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive admission processes and ensuring that clients received the highest level of care. This role required me to have a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals struggling with these specific conditions, as well as a thorough understanding of the mental health field as a whole. In my role as a client care administrator, I had the opportunity to lead a team of mental health professionals in providing high-quality care to our clients. I am passionate about ensuring that every individual who comes through our doors receives the support and care they need to achieve lasting recovery. In my current role as a Case Manager, I play a vital role in the treatment and support of clients. I guide them through ERP-based exposures using a hierarchy developed collaboratively by the treatment team and therapists, and meticulously document psychometric information tied to these exposures. Additionally, I keep clients and their families well-informed with weekly updates that encompass treatment plan modifications, completed care coordination, behavioral progress, and psychometric updates. I also conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical and mental well-being, preferences, and abilities, and work closely with the ERP clinical team to devise improvement plans. Furthermore, I assist in orienting incoming patients and support the Utilization Review Specialist by providing essential client daily notes for insurance companies.Throughout my career, I have been driven by a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues. I am dedicated to continuing to develop my skills and knowledge in this field, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
