Responsible for developing new business and business relationships with Australian based clients, to maximise the sales of stand alone corporate meetings, special events and incentives within the domestic market.

The Star is situated as Sydney's premier entertainment destination, offering restaurants by award winning Chef's, premium nightlife entertainment and bars, The Star Event Centre, five star accommodation including a Boutique luxury hotel, as well as a 16 room day spa and world class Casino.Responsible for the end to end customer experience of events held in all Signature Restaurants, Marquee Sydney, Bars, The Event Centre and Deck, and any other event space available, as well as the sales of larger group accommodation.Focussing on promoting The Star as a premium events destination, to develop and increase revenue and sales activity within the MICE market, as well as the leisure and corporate markets. This includes handling the initial sales enquiry, through to contracting, event handover or coordination, facilitating execution, post event follow up and monitoring survey results. Conducting regular site inspections, assisting with client entertaining, networking and trade events, forming and developing business relationships with new and existing accounts.

Responsible for the coordination of all corporate conferences, meetings and events, along with the coordination of Weddings, Social Events and Christmas Parties.Conducting site inspections confidently for both function rooms and accommodation rooms, leading weekly Banquet Event Order meetings and Group meetings, providing each respective department a detailed Banquet Event Order and handover, to ensure the events run smoothly. Generating additional revenue by up selling cocktail receptions, themed Coffee Breaks and premium Packages to contracted events.Liaise with and manage all external supplier relationships and products
