About Amber Keith

"Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose." — Zora Neale HurstonCurrently serving as a Staff Research Associate at UCI, I am driven by a passion for advancing our understanding of complex diseases. My work focuses on utilizing stem cell research to explore the pathology of Huntington's disease (HD), with the ultimate goal of developing therapeutic options for the HD community. In addition to my research endeavors, I am the Treasurer of HD-CARE, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Huntington's disease in Orange County. This role allows me to connect my scientific work with the community, amplifying the impact of our research. My ambition extends into cancer biology, where I aspire to contribute to the development of innovative treatments. By delving into cancer research, I hope to uncover new insights that will improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of life for those battling cancer. I believe that through dedicated research and collaboration, we can pave the way for breakthroughs that will change lives.
