Provided evidenced-based trauma therapy to children and adolescents, and non-offending caregivers as a means of fulfilling our mission and vision of providing justice, healing, and hope to those who experienced abuse and/or witnessed violence.

I provide support to Development Services, utilizing my knowledge of Raiser's Edge to help Do The Most Good in the DFW Metroplex.

I provided mental health counseling for youth when requested.

I process incoming donations, entering them into the Raiser's Edge database, and print thank you letters with tax receipts for donors. A large part of the position requires me to oversee the processing of donations made during any fundraising events, of which there are two large events each year. I also process reports on donor giving for budget balancing. Database maintenance and donor relations are also part of the role of the Gift Process Manager.

I provided individual and couples counseling to clients seeking mental health and relationship counseling. I conducted intake assessments, maintained regular progress notes, and created individualized treatment plans.

Pursued a Masters in Counseling Psychology

I handled appointment scheduling, client contact, paperwork preparation for appointments, and updating client information in the Advisor Assistant database. I also did some follow-up on transactions, information research as asked, and file organization.

As first contact for clients I helped to answer questions and maintain the pace of calls transferred to the order desk. Along with answering phones, I handled the matching and filing of invoices and order tickets. After a couple months I took over the order entry for one of the web accounts, as well as follow-up on tracking for the orders. I also handled entering the receiving of products and filling backorders.

As a new staff member, my job was to meet with individuals who had interest in missions, with potential to invest financially in my ministry. I spoke to individuals and groups alike, and followed up all appointments with a phone call. I was responsible for casting vision for the ministry in which I was going to be working. I also wrote monthly newsletters to keep partners up to date on the ministry.

Placed staff in work stations for shift which I oversaw; handled bank deposits; handled customer complaints/concerns; worked stations for personnel on breaks/lunches. It was an enjoyable and challenging fast-paced work environment.

I was in training to be a linguist, and studied Arabic.
