At the site, I worked with other Recreational Leaders in the after school program and we had to collaborate and work as a team to ensure the safety and well being of the kids. I watched kids of all ages and would help them with homework, tend to their needs/ concerns, play games and activities with them indoor and outdoor, and spoke with parents. It was a fun and fulfilling part time job that I really enjoyed up until the pandemic hit and caused schools to close.

I continued dancing up until high school. Once I was about 16 years old I got the opportunity to dance with one of my teachers in her professional group which was called Nani Kai Dancers. That is when I began my experience doing professional gigs as a contractor. I started dancing for Te Aho Nui in 2017 where I would get professional gigs regularly. I danced at various big or small events such as company parties, birthday parties, or even restaurants.
