At UpLead+ I am responsible for implementing, developing and executing the strategic marketing plans for the entire business, by doing so I have to attract new clients and retain the existing client base. My day-to-day tasks include managing and coordinating the staff at UpLead+. Running the social media accounts on a day to day basis including Facebook Marketing, Twitter, LinkedIn and Buffer. In charge of developing the marketing strategies that coordinate with the company objectives. Set-up marketing campaigns with sales activities. The ability to oversee the company’s marketing budget and know when and where there has to be changes. Plan and implement the promotional campaigns. Also, maintain an effective internal communication process to ensure all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

As a barista at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf I was responsible for serving all the products with a friendly and individualized way to each and every customer. I was responsible for educating the customers about their premium teas and coffees. I was responsible for fulfilling any of the duties the store manager and shift supervisors assigns for the shift. I needed to maintain the highest quality, keep it consistent with the product standards. Needed to pass monthly re-certifications in a timely manner. I definitely developed an understanding of coffee and tea in different regions, and learned about the differences in the flavor and blends.To me, the best part was the customers, I absolutely love the environment and being able to get to know the customers on a one on one basis, there were definitely the “regulars”. I was needed to greet the customers with a fast, friendly and personalized service and this develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
