I am a strong, charismatic, self-motivated communications professional and creative storyteller, residing in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I spent nearly 20 years in arts and entertainment management in Bismarck and Fargo, ND, Moorhead, MN and Chicago, IL, working as an actor, director, producer, promoter and administrator. Several years ago, I transitioned from A&E to health and wellness, as the Marketing & Annual Support Campaign Director for the Missouri Valley Family YMCA. Now I am proud to be part of a hard working and dedicated team that creates a healthier, happier, stronger community and makes a real difference in peoples lives every day. I am a vivacious public speaker, a magnetic leader, a riveting storyteller and writer, a progressive and inclusive collaborator and a meticulously organized and detail oriented manager. I am civic, education and volunteer minded; having served on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Business Association of Bismarck, the Student Achievement Committee of the Mandan Public School Board and the Advisory Board of the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. I have received several awards and recognitions for my work, including "40 Under 40" for Prairie Business Magazine, "40 Under 40" for the Bismarck Tribune and "YPN Chapter 44 Professional Achievement of the Year." I am also a Certified Global Leader in DEI work through the YMCA of the USA, and have completed the Maxwell Workshop Change Your World Transformation Table leadership process. Though I'm now fully immersed in the culture of health and wellness, I have stayed close to my creative roots with outside projects including co-hosting a weekly talk radio hour on iHeart, sub co-hosting a tv morning show with Nexstar, teaching and coaching acting to company dancers at Northern Plains Dance, directing season productions with Bismarck State College Theatre, Emceeing for major events and keeping up with commercial appearances. I am the proud mother of 2 adorable little boys and the grateful wife of an outstanding musician, partner and father. I love Korean food and Elton John and I'm always up for karaoke and a road trip.
