Managed all social media accounts including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, by curating content to promote the mission of The Africa Center.

Organized community events including The Museum Mile and Salon Africana to further the center’s mission of transforming the worlds understanding of Africa, its diaspora, and the role of people of African descent in the world.

Lead groups of eight youth in wilderness settings for 10 days on canoe trips with a co-leader; coordinated travel and itinerary, risk management, meal prep, and administered Wilderness First Aid; facilitated trippers' personal growth and development of skills in travel by canoe and over land, negotiated whitewater routes, group dynamics, and food preparation; writing final evaluation reports. As a Counselor: Managing time to accomplish in-camp and trip goals in a residential, mission-based organization; Planning and executing program for youth ages 8 - 15, with emphasis on safety, health and wellness, appropriate risk-taking, skill and character development while providing youth with high quality outdoor experience; organizing daily routines, managing risk, teaching activities, collaborating with team members, in pairs and in small groups to facilitate all aspects of the program; evaluating and documenting youth development throughout season and writing reports to parents.
