Amber was born and raised in Munday, Texas, the land of cotton farming and high school football. She received a BA in both Spanish and Psychology from Texas Tech University, graduating magna cum laude in honor’s studies. She received her law degree magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007. In 2014, Amber was awarded an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law and Daniels College of Business. Amber has been licensed to practice law in Colorado since 2007 and has extensive experience in IRS negotiations. She is licensed to practice before the U.S. Tax Court, as well as all Colorado state courts. When she’s not reading, writing, or thinking about principles of taxation and estate planning, Amber practices yoga, trains Brazilian jiu jitsu, loves hiking and simply being outdoors, and greatly enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and obsessing about healthy living.Amber is active in the Trust & Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
