I had a great 5 years with a hard working team while managing trainings, certifications, Aquatic programs, budgets, Kronos Payroll, safety procedures, hiring and orientations, team reviews and mentoring. Oversaw the 2 lap pools, 1 exercise pool, and one leisure pool with water features and a 200 foot slide and the pump room upkeep along side our maintenance team. I am AFO certified, and enjoyed the daily interactions building rapport with our dedicated Sparrow MAC members and getting to know all the caregivers by working alongside with them. Show less

I was a swim instructor, supervisor, and lifeguard instructor. I also helped with lifeguard classes, staff retention, onboarding, member retention, NPS surveys, safety protocols, pool and pump room upkeep, and community outreach activities.

I taught others safety skills such as CPR, AED, Oxygen, First Aid, Lifeguarding. I also was a Lifeguard and taught Swim Lessons at MCBH Pool. My favorite part of the job was working with the Marines from time with the wounded warrior program to assisting them learn to swim proficiently in their gear to pass an annual test.

I was there as the assistant manager where I helped the owners with marketing their menu display/pricing, annual Navy health inspections, employee onboarding and orientation, and sales to the customers.
