As a Veterinary Nursing graduate from Oxford Brookes University, I have gained solid theoretical and practical knowledge in small and companion animal surgery and medicine. I have also developed strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable me to deal with emotional situations, obtain client consent, and deliver information with clarity and compassion.Currently, I work as an ICU Registered Veterinary Nurse at Willows Veterinary Centre & Referral Service, where I provide high-quality nursing care and in-patient exigencies for critically ill animals. I am proficient at administering medications, conducting physiotherapy, providing nutrition, completing admissions and discharges, and performing diagnostic tests using in-house laboratory appliances and specialised systems and databases. I am also confident in using x-rays and anaesthesia monitoring equipment while following strict protocols and guidelines. I thrive in fast-changing and unpredictable environments by acting rationally and proactively within a team, while tailoring each experience to the unique needs of the customer. I prioritize productivity and constantly strive for positive advancement through constructive feedback and personal reflection.
