About Andrea Caldwell

While Ms. Caldwell worked at Centre City Development Corporation (now Civic San Diego), she managed its remote facility, the Downtown Information Center. This facility was designed as a marketing tool to encourage the public to consider living and working downtown San Diego. During her time there, she worked on messaging to the public on the benefits of downtown. She also updated processes and managed staff and a volunteer program with more than 25 volunteers working various shifts throughout the week. Additionally, she was responsible for numerous large and small events, including the San Diego Multicultural Festival, which attracted an estimated 20,000 attendees, which finished under-budget.
