I am currently a student at the University of Florida, but I have also attended Valencia College & Rollins College, where I was on the President's List every semester in attendance. At Rollins College, I participated in the work-study program in the IT department where I was able to solve technical problems in an innovative and timely fashion; build and cultivate relationships with full-time staff members and faculty members; and assist in the pandemic preparation of the school to a virtual format. Furthermore, I am passionate about service and volunteering, and I have served at many non-profit and faith-based organizations in the Orlando area: Nathaniel's Hope, Discovery Church, Delaney Baptist Church, Children's Miracle Network, and Children of the Nations are several examples. One award that I was privileged to earn with the Service Learning club at Cornerstone Charter Academy was the National Service Award from the Jefferson Awards & Multiplying Good. This award was for "Outstanding Leadership and Service to the Community" with regard to our efforts in raising over $35,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.Therefore, the career I am looking for would be to serve my community's needs and use my skills in leadership, collaboration with others, experience in public speaking, and strong work ethic to make a difference wherever I have the chance to work.
