Dr Immad Qureshi, MBBS, Diploma Football Medicine, MSc Critical Care, RCPathME, MAcadMEd, AFICM, FFSEM, FRCEMDr Qureshi graduated from Army Medical College in Pakistan in 2004 and has worked for 8 years at King Abdulaziz Medical City (Ministry of National Guards) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a specialist in Emergency Medicine before coming to the UK in 2014.Dr Qureshi is also an alumni of Cardiff University, having completed a MSc in Critical Care from the prestigious institute in 2015. He has been affiliated with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine as an Associate Fellow since 2009, and became a Fellow by Examination in 2018. He is an Associate Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetist's Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, and was recently accepted into the Academy of Medical Educators as a member. Dr Qureshi is also an international member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Pakistan Society of Emergency Medicine, and until his departure from Saudi Arabia, was a member of the Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine.Dr Qureshi fulfils regional, national, and international roles in Emergency Medicine and Medical Education, having represented EMSAS on the RCEM Education Committee. He is a RCEM examiner and accredited simulation trainer and recently admitted to the role of lead MRCEM OSCE examiner. He represents RCEM at the IFEM Core Curriculum & Education Committee and works within the Guidelines & Advisory Committee of the Pakistan Society of Emergency Medicine as an international member.Dr Qureshi was admitted to the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine as an Associate Fellow in 2020 and to the Academy of Medical Educators as a Member in 2021. He has been elected EMSAS Chair in 2023. The same year he was elected to Fellowship of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine of Ireland. This year he was appointed as a trustee of RCEM."No patient should come to harm due to lack of trained emergency staff.
