Current- Co-lead researcher of the Deep Learning team for Search & Rescue: both devised & implemented a multimodal transformer approach to finding missing people. Future work is based on a topological approach- Engaged in literature review of current state-of-the-art deep learning techniques applied to the S&R problem, implementing them, drawing inspiration from them, coming up with a version that applied to the problem, and iterating on it- Studied both the problem (as well as the domain knowledge it came from) and the data that was accessible and lead the collaborative effort - Additionally, Project Manager for coordinating between teams.
