Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR)

The Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR) is an Academic Research Organization with operational expertise, housed within Stanford’s Department of Medicine. We collaborate with external partners and Stanford teams to leverage the physical and intellectual resources of Stanford University and its affiliated teaching hospitals and research centers. Our mission is to conduct and promote high-impact, innovative clinical research to improve human health. SCCR partners with Stanford faculty and sponsors to conduct single, multi-site and virtual clinical trials. Key services include clinical operations management, project management, Clinical Event Adjudication, and Data Safety Monitoring Boards. Additional services include developing and delivering education and training for clinical research teams. All services are supported a strong foundational commitment to quality and compliance.
