Promoting positive community and economic growth in our communityAmee Sas grew up in Santa Rosa and moved back to Sonoma County in 2006 to build a Real Estate company inside of a mortgage bank in her home town.She expanded her business during the recovery in the market to winery and vineyard M&A and commercial transactions and eventually ended up running a nonprofit that grows startups in the North Bay. Within three years the nonprofit’s economic impact grew over three hundred percent. Driven by an offer she could not refuse, she joyfully returned to Real Estate and brought all she had learned about entrepreneurship and investments with her.Naturally curious and inspired to have a positive local impact, Amee loves connecting small businesses and new residents to local resources.Experienced in residential sales, condominium conversions, investments, financing, commercial & retail leasing as well as wine country properties, she loves learning new things and taking on special projects.Amee and her husband Gerardo live on a winery and farm in Sebastopol with their two children Andy and Amalia. Grew SoCo Nexus from a regional impact of $2.3 million to $10.9 million in her 3 years at the organization. Amee lead the charge to evolve the North Bay Investment Summit to the North Bay Innovation Summit, an event that highlighted homegrown innovations in the North Bay. As the leader of the North Bay iHub she served as a point of contact for economic development and job creation efforts to the governors office of business and economic development for the counties of Sonoma, Napa and Marin. Her fondest accomplishment was creating the North Bay Make-A-Thon with Ilham Ghanim, Sonoma State and partners in March of 2016.As Executive Director Amee was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the SoCo Nexus mission from fundraising and strategy, to hiring, development, fiscal reporting, financial projections, programming and the development of strategic partnerships with businesses, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, and government agencies throughout Northern California.
