I am passionate about teaching children with SpLD such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc and ensuring that children with SEN needs gain access the curriculum and reach their potential within their primary learning years. I have recently undergone essential training for Art Therapy to assist in creating a calm basis for learning. I am also a mother 3 sons, 1 has Autism which has led me to actively raise awareness and acceptance for the condition over the last decade via fundraising, social media and within personal relationships.I currently work in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant within EYFS. I am consistently expanding my knowledge on behaviour management, children's mental health, childhood illnesses, intervention strategies and coping strategies to assist with keeping a fluid learning environment for children and staff alike.
