As a passionate, creative person I have always thrived to work within the fashion industry. Being imaginative and cooperative has helped me achieve high goals and a extensive amount of work and experience. I am driven and focused to work within Visual Merchandising as my expertise in initiating new ideas, handling details and selling ideas or products means I will flourish within the retail world. Being good at advising change and helping do so is also an important skill to have when identifying problems, which is also another strong ability of mine. Knowing exactly where I aim to be meant that I knew I would take level 3 Fashion and clothing along side with photography. Finishing with Distinction star and A meant I went straight into the Fashion Retail Academy doing level 4 Visual Merchandising. Where I am studying now. Having experience within dressing mannequins; helping the layout of the shop floor at Marks and Spencer’s and All Saints and sketching garments on mannequins of how they would look on the body. All of this has helped improved my unique eye for visual merchandising.I also worked with fashion designer Jasper Garvida, who’s brand is Éthologie, in his studio. Helping me realise that the creative side of the industry is where I belong. Also achieving the experience of London Fashion Week in 2015 with the designer backstage was an eyeopener. All of this experience meant I learnt and now know the details about fashion from the styling on people and mannequins, creating of garments, fit and size and layout of how to sell the brand to customers.
