The family business is custom fit leather shoes made individually for each client. During the pandemic in 2020, I took the opportunity help out as cordwainer. There is quite alot of fun to be had with composites, adhesives, and shop tools. My family has trained with multiple cordwainers, boot-makers and last-makers to develop our own construction technique combining the durability of American cowboy boots with the look of a dress shoe.

• Modified a category 8 ethernet jack cyclical insertion testing fixture to comply with IEC 60512 Test 9a. • Conducted a gauge R&R study to determine the precision of a laser micrometer. • Documented and conducted testing on Leviton fiber optic connectors and Leviton category 8 ethernet jacks. This included setting up fiber optic circuits, creating testing fixtures, writing test reports and test procedures.
