I began at COLSA as an Intern with the Proposals department, and now work full-time as an Analyst. I work on the creation and analysis of proposal materials including calendars, data calls, and presentations for various teams and leadership within COLSA. Alongside my experience with Proposals, I work various tasks with our Communications/Marketing team. I work with Microsoft SharePoint to create a Proposal Database site where files are easily accessible and organized for team use. I also edit, proofread, and format proposal documents for experienced personnel, making business development more seamless. I work closely with the Communications team to generate content for our social media platforms and website updates, including blog writing and editing.

Through my experience at the University of Alabama's Miracle philanthropic organization, I moved my way up from a staff member on the Morale Committee into a leadership position. I served as an Assistant Director of the Morale Committee, leading students in their efforts to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.In my four years on staff, I fundraised over $2,000 for Children's of Alabama. I learned to be a part of a team and lead a team for a cause bigger than myself, along with making new connections that allowed me to excel on UA's campus.

While serving with First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa, I served on the Media Team to communicate information and announcements with college students. I learned to utilize an app called Subsplash that allowed the church to have an app dedicated to college students.I also had the opportunity to create graphics for the app and website using Canva, which increased my confidence in my graphic design skills. I was able to assist in running our social media channels, increasing engagement through the creation of graphics posted on Instagram stories and caption writing.
