Network Ops Tech Ii
Current- Part of a team responsible for 24-hour monitoring of a global network of over 20,000 network devices- Analyzes, diagnoses, and takes immediate action to resolve technical problems within our network- Interacts directly with customers by delivering problem updates and answering questions over the phone and via email- Coordinates the logistics of installing replacements for failed devices- Facilitates maintenance, repair, and replacement of network devices- Configures and activates replacement network devices- Maintains and updates documentation related to remote network installations- Contributes to the analysis of the root cause of service outages to help our company and our customers understand what had happened and avoid future outages
