The Foundation has more than $1.5 billion in assets under management making the foundation one of the largest public university foundations in the Northwest. At the end of 2020, the Foundation completed the ONWARD campaign, raising $2 billion over the course of seven years.Accomplishments:- Created a scholarship program to manage compliance for over 400 funds. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. They operate over 60 offices throughout North American and raise money through grassroots fundraising campaigns.Accomplishments:- Successfully implemented the inaugural Pineapple Classic 5k Obstacle Course Race in 2011 and organized the second annual event in 2012.- Collaborated with east coast colleagues to launch the inaugural Leukemia Cup Regatta in Portland in 2012.- Raised over $400,000 annually through the Light The Night Walk.Additional Responsibilities:- Created and implemented the marking and communication plan to support the event.- Developed the budget and track income and expenses on a daily basis.- Recruited and supported the Planning Committee which oversaw the day-of-event logistics.- Motivated and encouraged over 200 fundraising teams to collectively raise $200,000.- Recruited and managed over 100 event volunteers.- Supported the Campaign Director with other aspects of the Light The Night Walk including managingsponsorships, retail partners, and the Executive Committee.- Worked with external vendors to develop marketing materials.- Wrote copy and maintained the Facebook pages for the Light The Night Walk and Pineapple Classic 5k.
