My true passion is making the healthcare experience a more efficient process and improving the lives of both patients and healthcare professionals. I am so grateful to have built a career that capitalizes on my strengths while allowing me to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.     Promoted to the Unit Based Team Consultant role to take on operational oversight and process improvement for 43 of the 126 San Diego service area departments, as well as adding the Learning Consultant Portfolio in 2021 to own high-level training strategy. • Manage all strategic and operational aspects of a training program impacting over 10K employees across the organization. • Recruited, hired, and onboarded 45 new trainers to scale up the training program and enable enhanced delivery of content. • Partner with UBT Consultants and Senior Leadership to identify high-impact training projects to support process improvement. Develop training to align with those strategic priorities to position staff to excel in implementing operational optimizations. • Serve as Master Trainer, overseeing training team performance and providing feedback to enable performance improvement. • Created and launched a course “Preparing Managers for Partnerships” which enabled leaders to better partner with unions. • Lead a team of 50 trainers, accountable for workflow delegation, performance management, and employee engagement. • Facilitated completion of required training for 900+ employees within 11 months of holding the Learning Consultant role. • Converted 8 of the core training programs from in-person to virtual offerings using a Learning Management System (LMS).

This dramatically reduced manual training tracking on a national level. • Charge Nurse Workflow Optimization: Partnered with a group of Charge Nurses to process map their daily actions and realign their duties to maximize their capacity for high-level contributions. Partnered with unions to safely navigate this process.• Attendance Project: Implemented a self-scheduling system which reduced Last-Minute Sick Calls across multiple locations by 3%. This generated a substantial reduction in labor costs due to coverage and also generated a boost in staff morale. • Nursing Care Experience: Employed the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey to set a baseline for level of care and then facilitated programs to improve overall program rating. • Project managed many additional projects focused on Maternal Child Health Lab Specimen Handling, Admit and Discharge Streamlining, Inpatient Supply and Medical Room Revitalization, Inpatient Mobility and Ambulation, and many others.
