Current• Connect with UBTs and senior leadership team to define strategic priorities and identify high-impact projects for improvement. • Develop and deploy strategies from an internal consultant perspective to improve operations and enhance safety, profitability, and efficiency of workflows. Areas of focus have including Clinical Quality, Attendance, Affordability, Workplace Safety, Care Experience, Sepsis Protocols, Stroke Protocols, HAPI reductions, HCAHP scores, Physician Net Loss, and Pharmacy Services.• Implemented a streamlined Emergency Department protocol for stroke patients to reduce time from intake to CT scan which has a dramatic impact on decreasing negative health outcomes. Partnered with leaders and frontline staff to develop the SOPs.• Enabled an Allergy Department to expand by 1 full-time physician through implementation of a Physician Net Loss reduction strategy. Instituted a structured appointment reminder system which reduced appointment no-shows. • Designed a program to improve support for patients and families to support “return-to-baseline” status on all health and daily living activities for post-intubation patients. Program was deployed across 10 units within the health system. • Facilitated core Labor Management courses including Labor Management Partnership Orientation, Preparing Management for Partnership, Rapid Improvement Model Plus, Tracker/STATIT, Co-lead Workshop, Sponsor and Business Literacy trainings.• Drove continuous improvement to training programs by creating reports to collect and analyze data regarding budget, quality metrics, injury reports, training program, attendance, team assessments and supply replenishment.
