I am a Presidential Academic Scholar at George Washington University pursuing a major in Marketing with a concentration in Real Estate. My passion for entrepreneurship began at a young age when I watched my parents create their “side business” of real estate. They utilized our college town location to gain tenants for students and small businesses in these two-story buildings. For three years, my family had our own small business, a consignment store for antiques. I spent my after-school hours at this store, interacting with customers and learning about the merchandise. Having this experience in business at such a young age inspired me to pursue entrepreneurship and real estate further. I had the invaluable opportunity to work at Compass Real Estate alongside the top real estate agent in Philadelphia during the summer of my junior year and throughout my senior year of high school. Here, I had real-life experience and gained technical skills like DocuSign, ShowingTime, Microsoft Outlook, and Zillow. At GWU, I have joined the Commercial Real Estate Network and gained the position of Communications Officer on the executive board of students. Through this club, I am working on growing my real estate knowledge and earning my real estate license. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to make a positive impact in any team or organization I work with.
