CurrentIn my current role, I contribute to a wide range of urban design and architectural projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable urban solutions. My responsibilities include:Urban Regeneration & Design Expertise: I provide urban design expertise on large-scale regeneration projects, working with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure that designs align with broader planning and environmental goals. I integrate sustainable design strategies into urban environments, focusing on creating resilient and inclusive communities.Planning & Development Management: I collaborate with development management officers during the planning pre-application process, reviewing design proposals and offering high-quality critiques to improve outcomes. I ensure that all urban design proposals meet the necessary planning regulations, zoning requirements, and sustainability targets.Visual Communication & Documentation: I produce high-quality visuals, graphics, and documents, using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lumion. These materials support planning applications, client presentations, and internal decision-making, ensuring that design concepts are communicated clearly and effectively.Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management: I lead project coordination with engineers, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that all urban design projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. I also engage with community stakeholders to incorporate their feedback into the design process, ensuring that developments are responsive to local needs.Sustainable Urbanism: I integrate environmentally conscious strategies into every project, focusing on enhancing urban livability and ecological balance. This includes addressing issues such as green infrastructure, walkability, and energy efficiency in urban design solutions.
