• Provided leadership and oversight to day habilitation, employment, family, and residential support programs for people with autism and intellectual disabilities. Supported efforts to submit employment RFRs, achieve full CARF accreditation, and an outstanding DMR/DDS licensing review.• Co-coordinated a professionally recognized Green Team in its initial year of development and implementation. Delivered presentation sharing the blueprint developed for organizations to “Go Green” at the annual conferences of ADDP and Providers Council in 2008/09• Led and supported organizational efforts for legislative advocacy and provided initial support for the development and planning of agency Family Advisory Council

• Led and actively motivated a team of administrators, case managers, clinicians, educators, direct support professionals, nurses, and specialists to energetically provide high quality education, residential life, treatment supports, and vocational services to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities• Facilitated a variety of successful informational events/presentations in the areas of: Environmental Health, Advocacy/Legal Services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and Workforce Development• Wrote a “Book Review: Legal Planning for Special Needs in Massachusetts: A Family Guide to SSI, Guardianship, and Estate Planning” that was published in the Winter 2006-07 edition of the “Advocate”

• Provided oversight of daily operations (administrative, clinical, and nursing) for Metro Boston individual, residential and family supports for approximately 250 individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities ages 8-89.• Mentored and motivated energetic contributions from program directors, clinicians, and direct support professionals to provide innovative, high quality programming for individuals with disabilities who require the continuum of services from intermittent to intensive 24 hour supports• Worked collaboratively with the Department of Mental Retardation and Department of Social Services to develop and implement two pilot residential programs in 2004 that supported pre-Turning 22 transitional services for individuals with developmental disabilities• Worked collaboratively with internal quality department to develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans for each program model that met and/or exceeded standards for maintaining CARF and QUEST certifications• Provided expertise on Vinfen “Aging in Place” Task Force as well as serving on Metro Boston DMR Collaborative for Aging and Mental Retardation• Gained national exposure and recognition for the mentoring and development of self-managed teams and received “Moving Mountains” award at 2002 ANCOR Conference on behalf of those teams being recognized as a “best practice” in workforce development

• Improved the quality and depth of support of programs for 50 individuals with developmental disabilities • Successfully mentored and strengthened the development of two self-managed teams who were awarded the divisional team award in 1998• Enhanced Vinfen’s national reputation as an innovative organization through national conference presentations on self-managed teams and was invited to participate in “The Next Generation Of Leadership Symposium” of the President’s Committee on Mental Retardation in 1998• Served on interagency conference planning committee for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th annual Aging and Mental Retardation Conferences held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston• Co-directed Mental Retardation Division QUEST 2000 Preparation Committee and supported agency to achieve a Two Year Certification with Distinction
