AS & A Level, IGCSE and Secondary Sociology & Global Perspectives Teacher following Cambridge (CIE) curriculum. My Role:* Teach secondary and high school (AS, A Level & IGCSE) according to Cambridge (CIE) Curriculum standards. * Prepare students to sit CIE Examinations and prepare coursework. * Long and short-term planning, including new schemes of work and semester/weekly plans. * Create a positive classroom climate. * Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and groups. * Build knowledge through effective PD. Responsibilities:* Communicate with parents and school staff in the students’ best interest. * Create differentiated opportunities that are accessible for all English-speaking levels. * Assess and evaluate student growth. * Prepare students for appropriate Cambridge examinations. * Lead after-school clubs such as the Yearbook Club 2022-23. * Lunch/break monitor duties.* Support students at Model UN (MUN) conferences in Hanoi.

Working with UNV and Better Life Vietnam, I teach English As A Second Language to underprivileged students in Vietnam. I aid students with the four skills of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening and strive to improve pronunciation and confidence with the English language.

I am have completed my PGCE & QTS qualification in history secondary teaching. Gaining hands on teaching experience as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with the University of Chichester in alliance with TESLA teacher training. The course has proved me with in school training experience as well as university lectures and examinations regarding the pedagogy of teaching at a professional level and a subject specific focus.

I hold a 120 hour certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with TEFL.Org Modules included: grammar, methodology, teaching large classes, teaching online, telephone teaching. This course asked me to learn the fundamentals of teaching English but also to think about the practicalities of the classroom and how I can deliver this teaching through various resources, group work and how I can adapt this to different class ages and sizes.

In this role I am working closely with a small group of KS2 SEN students. We will focus on educational, social and behavioural development using therapies such as narrative and speech and language. I will also be using lego-building therapy to help promote students' emotional well-being. I will be responsible for aiding these children both in groups, the classroom and 1:1. I will also work with both the general class and teacher to provide any support necessary.

Reporting to the Editor at Nimbus Ninety, I am responsible for writing, editing, proofreading and creating content for the biannual launch of the company magazine: Chief Disruptor. Alongside this I am working closely with the magazine designer to ensure our design and layout ideas and requests are fully implemented. In this role I will be researching, implementing and creating content. As well as assisting the production and membership team with events to help to create a seamless experience for our members.

Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, I am responsible for creating a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and a Diversity and Inclusion Policy for the European branch of The Hackett Group. • Headed development and creation of CSR activities and initiatives for The Hackett Group• Collaborated with The Hackett Group representatives across Europe to finalise CSR policy and commitments • Worked with external charities and recycling agencies in order to form working relationships and initiate activities • Created a Diversity and Inclusion policy for The Hackett Group • Analysed published reports to ensure they ran in alignment with new Diversity and Inclusion policy • Published my CSR policy which worked in line with The Hackett Group’s branding

Throughout this experience I gained great knowledge about the workings of a local magazine. The editor, Jacob White, showed me through the process: from assigning articles to employees, to the writing of the article and grammar checking. All the way through to the graphics process and finalisation of the article and magazine in it’s entirety. I also wrote two articles for the magazine and social media posts on their website.
