Ami Greko is a digital publishing professional with over fifteen years experience, an ebook evangelist, and a leader towards publishing's future. Her career has spanned in-house digital marketing positions at Penguin and Macmillan publishers; a stint in startups, including the e-bookseller Kobo during which it was purchased by Rakutan; and Goodreads. She has worked for Apple Books in London and the US, and is now spearheading ebooks for Bookshop.org. Outside of the office, she was the founder of Book Camp NYC, an unconference that brought digital publishers, authors, and readers together to discuss changes in the industry. Ami also curated and hosted the lecture series 7x20x21, which was featured at Book Expo America and Digital Book World. Ami has held board positions for Book Expo America, the National Book Foundation, Digital Book World, and the Publishers Advertising and Marketing Association, and she has served for the past three years as a judge for the Digital Book Awards And the QED Standard for ebooks.
