Ami is a Roads Civil Engineer at Aurecon, a global engineering and advisory company that delivers innovative and sustainable solutions for complex infrastructure projects. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree with class 1 honours, she has a strong academic background and a passion for engineering.At Aurecon, Ami works with a diverse and collaborative team of engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients and stakeholders. She has developed proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD, as well as data science tools such as SQL and Python. Ami has contributed to several significant projects, such as the design of a rural road, the upgrade of a major highway, and the feasibility study of a new transit system. She is always eager to learn new skills, expand her knowledge, and challenge herself in her career.As a former Women in STEM Executive at the University of Wollongong, Ami has also committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the engineering industry. Ami has participated in various initiatives and events to support and mentor women and underrepresented groups in STEM fields, such as workshops, panels, and networking sessions.
